Rusovce
Rusovce, a municipal district of Bratislava. Besides being one of the most southern towns in Slovakia, it has a very interesting and varied history.
For the territory of today’s urban district there was a particularly important period during the reign of the Roman Emperor Trajan, when Rusovce came under the immediate influence of the Roman Empire. For the safety of the Roman Empire from the Germanic tribes, a set of border military camps, Limes Romanus, were built. One of them was established in the territory of today’s Rusovce, which was named Gerulata. We are very happy that we can also be part of the rich history of Rusovce.
