With the installation of the first info board, the regional tourism organisation Rezort Piešt’any launches the project Windows to History. Its aim is to provide the inhabitants and visitors with information about the town’s landmarks and monuments, including a look at their former appearance.

A period photograph on the glass of the Window to History provides an ancient view of the defunct Franzensbad, which stood at the beginning of Spa Island opposite the present-day Thermia Palace Hotel.
