At ARDSYSTÉM, s.r.o., we value the privacy of our users and undertake to process personal data in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR).

2. What personal data do we process?

We may collect and further process your personal data if you are a user of our services provided or made available through our website, or a person (or you work for a person) whom we are interested in informing about the offer of our products and services. In all of these cases, we may have obtained your personal data directly from you, for example through our website, when communicating electronically with you, or from another legitimate source.

We process the following personal data:

  • Personal data that you provide to us when using our services (e.g. name, e-mail address),
  • Technical data about your device, IP address and browser,
  • Website usage data obtained using tools such as Google Analytics that help us analyze traffic and improve our site, namely data related to your visit and use of our website, such as the response time of page responses, the length of visits to specific subpages, information about page interactions, error messages, etc., as well as data obtained through cookies or other similar technology.

3. Purpose and legal basis for the processing of personal data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring the operation of the website, improving the user experience – we analyze user interactions with the website in order to optimize it, improve its functionality and ensure that the content of the website is displayed in an efficient and user-friendly way,
  • Traffic analysis and statistical purposes – we track traffic using Google Analytics to better understand visitor preferences and improve the content of the website,
  • Communication – data such as e-mail address can be used to respond to your questions and comments.

The processing of this personal data is necessary for the fulfilment of our legitimate interests pursued by us only in cases where these legitimate interests do not override your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms that require the protection of personal data (section 7 below sets out how you can object to processing based on a legitimate interest at any time).

From time to time, we may ask you to give your voluntary consent to such processing before processing personal data for a specific clearly defined purpose (see the final section of this document for how to withdraw your consent).

4. Use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics from Google on our website. This tool helps us collect anonymous data about the use of our site, such as the pages browsed, the time spent on the site, the type of device and the browser. All this data is anonymized and cannot be assigned to a specific person.

Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information that is then sent to Google’s servers, where it is analyzed and provides us with aggregated statistical information about the use of our website.

5. To whom do we disclose your personal data?

We do not disclose your data to third parties except for service providers that are necessary for the operation of this website, such as Google Analytics. Personal data is not provided to third countries, i.e. countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

6. Retention of personal data and security

We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected or for as long as required by law. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse, which we update regularly. We process data processed on the basis of a legitimate interest for the duration of this interest, but for a maximum period of two years. We may process personal data that we process on the basis of your consent (if applicable) for the entire period of validity of your consent, which is five years from the date of its granting.

After this period, your personal data will be deleted, except where further processing is necessary to comply with our legal obligations or for other legitimate reasons in accordance with generally binding legal regulations.

7. User rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access – you have the right to know what data we collect about you;
  • Right to rectification – if your data is incorrect, you can request that it be rectified,
  • Right to erasure – you have the right to request the deletion of your data,
  • Right to restriction of processing – in certain cases, you have the right to restrict the processing of your data,
  • Right to data portability – you have the right to receive your data in a commonly used format;
  • Right to object – you can object to the processing of your data.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time (if we address such communications to you) – in which case the personal data may no longer be processed for these purposes.

If we process your data to safeguard our legitimate interests, you may object to such processing at any time; In this case, we may only further process your personal data if we can demonstrate the existence of compelling legitimate interests that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if such data is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8. Use of cookies
