Project for Bánová Primary School and Kindergarten

For the Bánová Primary and Kindergarten, we have prepared a project that combines education with playfulness. We produced and installed several interactive and educational elements that enlivened the schoolyard and created a space for experiential learning. Each element includes a QR code with a guide that engages kids in a fun way to explore and learn. You can also see QR codes here QRlink.

Bookbooth

We have placed a wooden bookcase on the school grounds, which serves as a small outdoor library. Children can borrow books, read them during a break in the fresh air, or bring their own and exchange them with friends. It encourages reading outside the classroom and builds a relationship with books.

Dendrologist

On the Dendrologist panel, children learn to recognize tree species, their leaves or fruits. A playful form of learning, complemented by QR codes with an interactive guide, helps them get to know nature directly on the school grounds. We designed the element to be not only educational, but also visually interesting.

Insect house

Our insect house made of natural materials has also found its place in the school garden. It serves as a refuge for beneficial insects – solitary bees, ladybugs or butterflies – and at the same time as a great aid in environmental education. Children can observe how insects behave and understand their importance in nature.

Maze

A colorful interactive panel with a maze, in which children are tasked with helping the animals find their way to their houses. This element develops logical thinking, fine motor skills and teaches patience – all in a fun format that immediately engages children.

Birdhouse and feeder

The project also includes a birdhouse and a feeder, which bring life and movement to the school environment. Throughout the year, children observe birds, learn to recognize them and take care of feeding them. In this way, they learn responsibility and care for living creatures in a playful way.

We designed the entire project to combine fun, learning and environmental thinking. The result is a schoolyard that stimulates children’s curiosity, creativity and the joy of discovery.
