A new bicycle shelter has been added to St. Gorazd Primary School in Žilina, creating a safe and practical place for students and staff to park their bicycles.

The solution responds to the growing popularity of cycling among children while supporting daily physical activity, a healthy lifestyle, and an environmentally friendly way of commuting to school. Thanks to the shelter, cyclists have access to a protected space where they can conveniently and safely leave their bicycles during school hours.

During the design and implementation, emphasis was placed on functionality, material durability, and the natural integration of the structure into the school campus. The construction is designed to withstand everyday use while aesthetically complementing the school environment. The result is a simple, practical, and long-term sustainable solution that supports active transportation and improves comfort for students arriving at school by bicycle.

The project also included delivery of the shelter to the site and its professional installation directly within the premises of St. Gorazd Primary School.
